Mehul Shah, MD, FACC

Dr. Shah, a highly skilled and accomplished cardiologist, is the founder of Pioneer Cardiovascular, P.C. - a prestigious medical facility that has been providing exceptional cardiovascular care since its inception in 2003. With an impressive educational background, Dr. Shah completed his Internal Medicine residency at Grace Hospital in association with Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 1996, and later his Cardiology training at the renowned Oschner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1999.

Dr. Shah's exceptional medical expertise and dedication to his craft have been recognized by the board, with him being certified in not just one, but multiple specialties including Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Shah's visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence have undoubtedly positioned Pioneer Cardiovascular, P.C. as a top-notch medical facility that delivers cutting-edge cardiovascular care to its patients.

Rajiv Ashar, MD, FACC

Dr. Ashar is a distinguished medical professional who joined Pioneer Cardiovascular, P.C. in 2004. He holds an impressive record of accomplishments and an exceptional career trajectory in the field of medicine. Dr. Ashar completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the esteemed Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio in 1998. He subsequently completed a Cardiovascular Fellowship at the renowned Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona in 2001.

Dr. Ashar is a Board Certified expert in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology, illustrating his wide-ranging knowledge and expertise in the field. He is widely regarded as a master in these specialties.

Dhaval Shah, MD, FACC

Dr. Dhaval Shah is an accomplished medical professional who joined Pioneer Cardiovascular on July 15, 2020, as a valuable addition to their team. Dr. Shah completed his medical school training at the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical School and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, India, where he honed his skills and knowledge in the medical field. Subsequently, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA.

He pursued a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology at the same institution. He has been Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiography, Interpretation of Vascular Studies, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Shah is also Board Eligible in Nuclear Cardiology, underscoring his vast knowledge and expertise in the field.

Dr. Shah has a particular interest in the treatment of structural heart disease, specializing in the minimally invasive technique of replacing the aortic valve, known as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). Along with providing clinical expertise, Dr. Dhaval Shah is serving as Chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular medicine at Chandler Regional Medical Center since January 2021 and at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center since January 2023

Dr. Adhirath Doshi, MD, FACC

Dr. Adhirath Doshi obtained his medical degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in India. He pursued further training in the field of cardiology, completing his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Dr. Doshi specializes in Invasive Non-interventional Cardiology, with a particular focus on preventive cardiology. He holds board certifications in cardiovascular medicine, adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT. Notably, he received comprehensive training in cardiac CT under the guidance of Dr. Matthew Budoff at the UCLA-Harbor campus in California.

His contributions to the medical field extend beyond his clinical practice. Dr. Doshi has authored numerous articles published in reputable peer-reviewed journals.Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Doshi cherishes spending quality time with his family. He possesses a passion for travel and photography, and he also holds a special interest in the game of Cricket.
